Lady Tigers Report
The Lady Tigers three game winning streak came to an end Tuesday night in Waynesboro. The Lady Lions made a late surge in the fourth quarter to win 48-41. Katie Terry lead the Lady Tigers with 14 points, Emily Gray chipped in with 10, Morgan Willoughby 6, Karlee Wyatt 4 and Kelsey McAfee had 2. The Lady Tigers will face the districts number one team The Lady Cougars of Munford Friday night . Tip Off is set for 6:00 pm. Catch the exciting play by play on WKWX 93.5.
Tigers Basketball Report
The Tigers suffered a heart breaking overtime loss last Friday against Jackson NS. Tuesday night more of the same except the Tigers lost to Wayne County in double overtime.This was the Tigers second multiple overtime game and their third overtime loss this season. The Tigers fell to the Lions 55-51. Will Shelton continued his outstanding play leading the Tigers in scoring with 15 points and also added 15 rebounds. Chris Smith had 12 points and Kelby Wardlow had 10. Friday the Tigers may play the biggest game of the year verse Munford.

The Tiger football team has started spring practice this week. Coach Smith and his staff are excited about the start of the 2012 season and looks forward to the next couple of weeks with his young team. Join Sports Talk a week from Saturday as Coach Smith will join Steve and David.
